Beard Transplant

BEARD

TRANSPLANT

Beard transplants are gaining more popularity recently as they are becoming the new male sex symbol and the results are permanent. Previously, we would be receiving at least 1 beard transplant patient a month, but recently, we have been doing at least 1 beard transplant patient weekly. Normally, the hair is harvested from the scalp area and then transplanted on to the face. The number or grafts range from 500 to 2000. We also provide post-care treatments which are included in the service and we will follow up and guide you through the after-care journey.

How is it Done?

The hair grafts are extracted from the donor region which is usually the back of the scalp, and are transplanted to the patchy bald portion of the moustache or beard. The transplanted hair grow naturally like other facial hair and can be trimmed or shaved.

New hair will grow from the implanted FU to give the desired shape. Beard transplant results are virtually indistinguishable from a natural beard with the transplanted hairs blending right in with the existing beard.

Procedure

The entire process has minimal to no pain, and recovery time is quite fast.

  • Harvesting Process– Donor hair is carefully harvested, paying close attention to protecting blood supply and nerves while maximizing harvest yield. Meticulous closure of donor sites minimizes discomfort and improves healing.

  • Recipient Site Creation– Recipient sites are chosen with perfect angles, direction, pattern and graft-to-site fit in mind to create the most natural results.

  • Hair Graft Placement– Our experienced team expertly places all hair grafts so they are not too deep or too high and to prevent trauma upon placement.

Duration: 6-7 hours
Anaesthesia: Local anaesthesia
When to Go Home after Procedure: Immediately after procedure

Recovery

After a successful transplantation, the transplanted hair might fall after 3 weeks, but this should not worry you as they grow back better than ever, after 4 to 6 months. It is advised not to shave for about 8 to 9 days of the treatment, but you may use scissors to shorten them. The patient can get back to his routine life within one week of the treatment.
