WHAT IS MOLE

Mole are caused by aggregate of cells that are called melanocytes, and they make the pigment that gives skin its natural color. Mole may darken after exposure to the sun, during the teen years, and during pregnancy. Although most mole are non-cancerous, some may develop into skin cancer. WHAT IS MELANOMA

Melanoma, also known as malignant melanoma, is a type of skin cancer that develops from the pigment-producing cells known as melanocytes. Melanomas typically occur in the skin but may rarely occur in the mouth, intestines or eye (uveal melanoma).

HOW LONG DOES THE PROCEDURE TAKE?

The procedure duration would depend on the size and location of the mole, usually about 1-2 hours.

IS IT PAINFUL?

Well the procedure is aimed to provide excellent results with minimal pain. However usage of cry cautery and laser may cause a small ‘pinch’ during the procedure.
